Prices depend on how many people stay in your room:
  • One Bedroom -Up to three (3) people
  • Two Bedroom -Up to five (5) people
Q

Q. How do I know it's safe to use my Credit Card on your website?

TILTEDTRAVEL.com uses Braintree & SSL for all credit card transactions. SSL is a secure method of transmitting information over the internet. Tilted Travel does not store any credit card information.

Q

Q. What is the deadline for final payment?

We need your payment 90 days out from your check in date, so mark that date in your dairies, phones and calendars, this is one due date you do not want to forget about. You don't have to wait until 90 days before though! To help you budget for your upcoming Tilted Travel vacation, you can start making payments from the minute that you book.

Q

Q. What happens if I do not pay by the due date?

You're booking will run the risk of being cancelled. Avoid this at all costs, as we don't want to dash your dreams of having the most awesome party week of your life.

Q

Q. How can I view my booking?

Just grab your booking number and password and head over to the website and log in. Don't forget these two things - write them on your forehead if necessary.

Q

Q. Can I make changes to my booking after it has been made?

Firstly, you will have to login to tiltedtravel.com to view your booking. There you will be able to change the following attributes of your booking:

  • Change the name of a group member
  • Change the email address or contact details of group members
  • Cancel a group member
  • Cancel rooms

This being said, we really do recommend however that you try and lock in a solid group from the outset to ensure there is minimal messing around, also to ensure that the organiser of your group doesn't go grey before the week starts.

Q

Q. How many people can stay in my room?

When you're browsing the room descriptions you will be told the maximum capacity of that room. This must be followed at all times, due to fire and safely regulations. Anyone found cramming more people into their room than allowed will face eviction and loss of payment, which is 10 different types of not good!

Q

Q. Who are our tour guides?

The Tilted Tour features a hand selected dedicated tour guide who will be with you for the entire trip. They are local, they are fun and they will ensure you are laughing, singing and dancing the whole way through!

Q

Q. What happens if I want to cancel my booking?

Firstly, cancelling this tour would be lame. Cancel before 90 days out and all you will lose is your deposit. Cancel 90 days or less before check in and no amount will be refunded. We understand that stuff does come up so please notify us via email as soon as you can.

Q

Q. What happens if one of my roommates wants to cancel their place in the booking?

Members of your group can cancel by logging into tiltedtravel.com, using their booking number and password. If you do have someone drop out of your group, this means that those remaining room mates will have to pay more per person. However if you find a replacement for your friend that bailed on you, all you need to do is change the name on the booking using the 'Replace' function. In this case deposits will be transferred to the new person.

Q

Q. Can I change a name on my booking?

Yes you can, just log into tiltedtravel.com using your booking number and password and edit your details. Keep in mind, once airline tickets are issued, no name changes are possible.

Q

Q. Why has the per person balance owing increased?

This probably means that one of your roommates has dogged you and now you have to pay for their share of the booking. The cost of accommodation is on a per person rate not per room. Simple fix, find someone else to fill their spot and change the details on the booking page. This will change the amount owing again.

Q

Q. What happens if I cancel or a room mate wants to cancel after full payment has been taken?

Not good, unfortunately this means that full payment and deposit will not be refunded.

Q

Q. Can I move my booking to a different date?

If there is still availability for flights & accommodation, you are able to move your booking to a different date. However, this will mean a $60 admin charge per person plus any charges imposed by airlines.

Q

Q. Do I need a visa to go to Australia?

Most Americans citizens should be eligible for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) visa. Review the eligibility criteria to see if this visa is right for you: www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETAS3/etas.

Q

Q. Does everyone need a visa to enter Australia?

YES! American's need an ETA visa to visit Australia.

What is an ETA Visa?

An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) provides authorization to travel to and enter Australia and is electronically linked to your passport. Q

Q. What are my responsibilities as group organiser?

As a group organiser you are the boss. Your task is to make sure that everyone knows what's going on with payment, people and deadlines. You will also get the privilege of receiving all information regarding your booking first! Make no mistake there is a responsibility associated with this role, but once the week begins you have the ability to make people pay you back for your work, we're talking burgers, drinks and favors.

Q

Q. Do I need to take out Travel Insurance?

YES! Plus the Tilted Travel experience can get a tad hectic, so taking out some Travel Insurance is highly recommended. This should also cover you if anything happens during the week, or on your travels to and from the destination, as well as any unforeseen events that would lead you to cancel your booking, such as an embarrassing stack that you're not really proud of. We automatically add a QBE 10 day Travel Insurance policy to each person who books at a cost of $49.00. If you would like to organize your own Travel Insurance you can remove the QBE Insurance from your profile and source your own. Travel Insurance is compulsory for all Tilted Travel customers.
